Yes. Microsoft states that a new deployment can take up to 24 hours to propagate (and up to 72 hours for changes). Outlook on the web is often faster, but there's no guarantee.
- Sign out of Outlook on the web completely, then sign back in — a simple refresh (F5) is not enough.
- In desktop Outlook, fully restart the application.
In the new Outlook on the web: left app bar → More apps (…) → Add apps → at the bottom, Manage your apps. The "ATOM Signature" add-in is listed there once deployed.
The add-in's button is visible when opening a received email (read mode), in the ribbon or the message's "…" menu.
That's by design. While composing, the add-in works in the background: it inserts the signature automatically, with no button or window. "Nothing on screen" while writing doesn't mean the add-in is missing — check instead that the signature appears in the message body.
- In the console, Connections tab: the add-in status should read "Active, signal received on…".
- A signature must be published and targeted at the user (directly or via their Microsoft 365 group).
- The subscription must be in good standing, with seats available.
- Allow time after a first deployment (see the first question), then sign in to Outlook again.
If everything looks right and the problem persists, write to us with the affected email address.
Outlook on the web, the new Outlook for Windows, classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365, recent versions), Outlook for Mac and Outlook mobile (iOS and Android), with an organization Microsoft 365 account. On mobile, the signature is inserted when composing the message.
The most reliable proof is in the console: Connections tab, "Outlook add-in" card — the status switches to "Active" as soon as a user in your organization triggers the add-in.
In PowerShell (ExchangeOnlineManagement module): Get-App -OrganizationApp lists the add-in deployed for the organization. Note that an add-in deployed through this channel does not appear under "Integrated apps" in the Microsoft 365 admin center — that's expected.
The full step-by-step guide is in our documentation.
In the console, Connections tab → "Remove add-in". No PowerShell required. Removal can take a few hours to propagate in Outlook.
The subscription (seats, payment, invoices) is managed in the console. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle, after which your data is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy. See also the terms of use.
